Join The Media Team and be a part of a creative group that helps enhance the entire worship experience at St. John’s. Prior experience is a PLUS but not a necessity. Professional training is provided. The Media Team is a group of volunteers whose ministry includes operating sound, video, and lighting for all of St. John’s weekly worship services, as well as special services, concerts, and events both on and off campus.  The ministry also expands beyond worship with our Video, Photo, and Recording Teams.

Sound Team

In the auditorium -- set up and create a quality mix of the Worship Band on a Yamaha PM5D digital sound board and In the sanctuary we mix the soloists, choirs and the spoken word. In both venues we aim to provide a seamless experience so every person can hear and respond to the message of Jesus Christ.  

Video Team

This team constructs a visual presentation using ProPresenter -engaging the congregation with imagery and enabling participation in the auditorium by running the lyrics.

Lighting Operators

This team controls the many lighting fixtures with a modern digital lighting console to enhance the worship experience in the auditorium.
