Pathways To Learning Program Director
Under the direction of the principal, the Resource Specialist Program Director (RSP) provides leadership for the Pathways to Learning (PTL) program; academic instruction to the Pathways students at St. John’s Lutheran School in accordance with requirements set forth by the State of California; prepares and develops lesson plans and other instructional materials for assigned classes; fosters and promotes a Christian atmosphere and assist students in their spiritual development. Possesses a strong commitment to full-time Christian education. Exemplifies the Christian philosophy of St. John’s Lutheran Church mission statement in all aspects of day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT; 10 MONTH EMPLOYEE
SCHEDULE: FULL-TIME
SALARY RANGE: $55,000-$85,000 ANNUALLY
Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrates values and attributes in connection with the faith being taught by St. John’s. Lutheran Church, with the purpose of being a role model to employees and those being served.
- Exhibits passion for the success and growth of student learning.
- Advocates for the students in the Pathways program.
- Interprets IEP and 504 accommodation plans when needed.
